Susan Saper nee Menkin, 97, beloved wife of the late Julian Saper for over 54 years; loving mother of Dr. Clifford (Barbara) Saper, Diane (Bradley) Berman and Jackie Saper; adored grandmother of Mitchell and Kevin (Samantha) Berman, Becky (Ryan) Saper, Leah (Oran) Bradley-Saper and Sean Saper; great grandmother of seven; dear sister of the late Melvin Menkin and Rosalyn (William) Kagan; devoted daughter of the late Isaac and Mary Menkin. Graveside service 11:00 AM Thursday at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to NSS Beth-El, 1175 Sheridan Rd., Highland Park, IL 60035 or a charity of your choice. Susan and Julian were among our most constant couples, We spent many, many happy times with their family and other close friends. Our guys were engineers, we were teachers.. Our friendship goes back to when we were all young parents. Many wonderful memories include the Saper. It was our delight to be their friends.

Both Susan and Julian were very close friends of my parents. Susan wrote a short book about my mother and when my mother passed Julian came and spent the night with my father. Always giving caring and loving. Our heartfelt sympathies are with all of you. Let her be at peace now and her memories be held close to your hearts❤️
